Finny is now standing at stud to approved bitches.

"Finny" is our shining star on the Horizon with 'multiple talents'. He stands a beautiful 24" tall, with an nice front assembly, coupled with matching rear angulations. He has a smooth blend of neck into shoulder, full dentition, clean coming and going, moves with full extension front and rear. He is a happy boy that gets along exceptionally well with other dogs and puppies. "Finny" has a confident temperament, correct coat texture, black pigment, dark eyes, level topline, correct tail carriage, along with a gorgeous head, lots of bone and a soft expression. "Finny" is a natural in the field and is obedient to whistle, voice and hand signals; is at an intermediate level in memory and blind retrieves; has a good soft-mouthed delivery; handles well by whistle and hand signals at a distance. He developed good marking skills; is comfortable retrieving live or dead birds; is proficient at water retrieving; quarters remarkably for upland hunting; and is steady at the sound of a shot. Keep your eyes on this talented boy of ours!!

6.26.10 FINNY WINS AGAIN today under judge William Cunningham today for another 2 points going WD/BOW in Cambridge, MN. Finny is now singled out for points and we are just looking for that LAST MAJOR to finish his AMERICAN CHAMPIONSHIP!!!

6.25.10 Finny was WD/BOW for 2 points today under judge Patricia Laurans at the Cambridge, MN shows!! He is on a role!! WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR BOY!!

6.13.10 Finny was WD at the Lake Minnetonka Kennel Club in Jordan, MN under judge Linda More for another 2 points!!! We are a little more than half way there!

6.11.10 Finny was WD at the Golden Retriever Specialty in Jordan, MN under judge Roger Hartinger for a 3 point major!!! WOOT WOOT!! That's our boy!!!

Finny won his first Best in Specialty Sweepstakes at the Des Moines Golden Retriever Club Specialty on September 4th, 2009 under judge Karen Arbuthnot. He also took a 5 point Major Reserve from the Bred By class under Judge Nancy Jean Gallant! What a GREAT DAY!!!

9/27/09 Finny won WD/BOW at the AKC Conformation shows in Rockford/Freeport, IL shows today under judge Eugene Blake.

9/20/09 FINNY IS A NEW United Kennel Club (UKC) CHAMPION and adds another title to his name!! He had a great weekend going Best of Breed, Group 1 and Reserve Best in Show! Good Job Finny!!

We were in Kansasville, WI this weekend (August 22nd and 23rd) where Finny picked up two out of four passes he needs for his UKC/HRC Started Hunting Title. YAY FINNY! We will be trying to finish him up September 12th & 13th at the Land of Lakes HRC Hunt test.

FINNY PASSED HIS FOURTH AND FINAL LEG AND FINISHED HIS AKC JUNIOR HUNTER (JH) TITLE TODAY AT THE DULUTH KENNEL CLUB! WE ARE SO PROUD OF OUR BOY!

7/17/09-7/19/09 YES YES YES!! Finny was ON FIRE this weekend at the Mississippi Headwaters Retriever Club in Bemidji this weekend. He earned 3 legs towards his AKC, JH (Junior Hunter) title! ONE MORE TO GO BOY!!! Stay tuned for NEXT weekend. He is entered in the Duluth Retriever Club Sunday, July 26th. WILL HE DO IT???

7/12/09 ***FLASH*** FINNY RECEIVED HIS 3RD PASS TODAY WITH 100 POINTS OUT OF 100 AND RECEIVED HIS AKC RALLY NOVICE (RN) TITLE TODAY AT THE DULUTH KENNEL CLUB! THAT'S OUR BOY!

6/19/09 **** FLASH **** FINNY passed and received his TDI (Therapy Dog International) title today at the Anoka Kennel Club in Cambridge, MN today!

6/7/09 **** NEW AKC CD TITLE FOR FINNY!!! **** Finny finished with style today under Judge Richard Wood getting 192 points out of a possible 200 and qualifying for his AKC CD TITLE!! WAY TO GO FINNY FOO!!!
